Guardian Tactile Systems Pty Ltd was established in Perth, WA in 2001, pioneering and manufacturing Guardian Peel, Bond and Walk™ Tactiles and Non Slip Stair Nosing products for Australian conditions. It has been an evolution of procedures and materials to where we have today, unquestionably the best retro-fit Tactile system available in Australia and the world.

Tested in the harsh WA climate and the extremes of Victoria's climate, the Bayer Polyurethane Tactiles have produced outstanding results for years and show that they will continue to endure into the future years to come.

In early 2004, Guardian was commissioned to carry out site testing in Nunawading Victoria. This gained us VicRoads accreditation for our tactiles. This accreditation allows Guardian Tactiles to be installed on all VicRoads and council managed roads within Victoria.

Since this time various State Government Departments have also made the same move and Guardian now boasts over 200 Councils throughout Australia utilising our warning and directional tactiles.

Guardian Tactiles Systems have over 60 distributors throughout Australia who service all councils and in excess of 500 Builders and Architects. We also have agents in New Zealand, Asia and the UK who supply and service their market with Guardian products.

Guardian Tactile Systems provides addition support for its customers with nation-wide installation crews fully trained in the Guardian installation procedure of both its tactiles and Non Slip Stair treads.
